We learn EFT as a set of techniques like the Movie Technique or Sneaking Up and we practice them in supervised exercises on training courses. Coming away full of enthusiasm we are then faced with a real live human being with a messy and complex life. Issues may be vague and full of ‘don’t knows’ or highly analysed but with no feeling.
How do we fit the techniques we have learned to the reality of someone’s life? How do we go at the pace of the person we are intending to help?
In our concluding session of EFT Gathering 2019, I asked the audience ‘what do you want in next year’s programme?’ One reply was ‘challenges in practice’ so I have made that the title of my presentation for this event.
I’ll will share stories from my owb practice and offer you a roadmap to navigate through helping others or helping yourself.
I’ve been tapping for eighteen years now and am still enchanted and delighted by the simplicity and depth of this wonderful modality. EFT opened the door for me to an endless journey of learning. Along the way I’ve helped over a thousand people to learn how to tap for themselves and others. I’ve traveled far and wide and made friends in many countries.
Now I’m content to stay home in this lovely town of Ilkley and run the EFT Guild and the EFT Gathering to help people like you to create community and share your experiences.
